CALL TO ORDER / APPROVAL OF MINUTES
- Meeting was called to order at 7:10pm by Bill Steenis. In attendance were Jennifer Stout, Steve Yandl, John Patterson & Bill Steenis.
- Jennifer Stout presented the minutes of the February meeting. Motion made by Steve Yandl to accept the minutes as written, seconded by Bill Steenis, accepted unanimously.
- 21 outstanding checks from homes that had not as of the due date, March 1st, paid their dues. This is a 50 % increase in late payments from past years. Late fees will be assessed after one month. Liens on unpaid dues will be assessed on May 1st, 2008.
- $73,000 in the bank. Transfer of $9,800 to long term fund will be done in near future. Roughly $6,000 in current outstanding checks.
- $23,000 in money market account. One of the CDs will be coming due in near future, will be re-enrolled.
- No paperwork received as of yet from the Snohomish County Little League. Without correct paperwork on file, will be unable to allow practice to occur. No port a potty has been stationed at boatpark yet either. Will be in communication with League to check on status of paperwork.
- Will have Skinner crew work on park pressure washing of toys and graffiti removal along with coordinating for crew to do painting of community fence where needed.
- Play chips will need to be added to play toys this summer. Approximately 4 inches worth will cost around $1,600.00. Board will discuss later to do this in the summer.
- John Patterson advised board of bat houses as an option to help minimize bugs in the community this summer. Board will review this option for summer use.
- Will request bids to do further pavers up path at 72nd to Sno-Cascade to look at feasibility for improved gravel control there.
- No communication received from Sharma rental regarding lease being up in May. $100.00/day fine will be instituted after the lease is up if the home is still being utilized as a rental.
- Mohammed house, family has chosen to move into the home in Gold Creek. No longer will be considered for a rental option by owners.
- Directors’ insurance coverage is now at $20,000.
- Refund received from prior insurance and new insurance with an umbrella of 3 million instituted at a lower cost to HOA.
New Business
- Will need to request use of Totem Falls Elementary library for yearly HOA meeting. Jen Stout will acquire this approval.
- Yard of Merit will start back up in April. Volunteers are appreciated.
